The conclusion of his studies is that Yips is most often a motor dysfunction and not a disease. It is triggered by high precision demands and performance pressure. Consequently a specific motor behaviour training is recommended which can be booked by any affected golfer in the SAM Academy in Munich.
The conference was again a great success with more than 130 participants from over 15 countries worldwide. The WSCG (www.golfscience.org) was founded 1990 by Alastair Cochran and Martin Farrally also in St. Andrews.
